OFIP is founded on 5 basic principles:

1. Equality and democracy for all those who live in the middle east, including but not restricted to, Muslims, Christians and Jews.

2. Respect for minorities and protection of their human rights.

3. Rejection of all forms of racism, including
   anti-Semitism and Islamophobia.

4. Respect for, and application of, international law and relevant UN resolutions, including a just solution for Palestinian refugees

5. Respect for historical accuracy.
